Q3. PayPal does not accept my currency. What can I do? What if I paid the wrong amount??

Please note that for PayPal does not accept currency such as AU$. Please refer to http://www.xe.com for exchange rate.

If you paid the wrong amount, please do not worry at all. Simply email us to explain clearly the reason and amount of mis-payment.
Once confirmed the correct amount, we will refund you any extra payment immediately.

Q4. I have won an auction, what if I need more or other items as well?

Simply email us and get a quote from us for the extra items, and pay it in one go.
We will ship all the item together, and save some shipping cost for you.

Q5. I have won multiple auctions, will I save on shipping cost?

Yes! For each extra purchase in one lot, we will reduce USD 5 per item. We appologies that we cannot discount more because the post office charges us by weight.

However, if you purchase in big lot or resell our products, please STOP bidding on our auction items, and directly email us at partnership@ssl-hk.com for distrivution pricing.

Q6. Where does the products come from?

We ship directly from manufacturers in Hong Kong.
All products we ship are BRAND NEW in original manufacturer's packing.
We ship these products from Asia to all over the world. LOW PRICE guaranteed!!
We ALWAYS send it to overseas as gift or free non-commercial sample.

Q7. Will there be import duty / tax for oversear shipment?

The chance is slim, because we ALWAYS send it to overseas as "gift" or free non-commercial sample.
However the custome does insist to charge, if you are very unlucky.

Q8. Will the shipping fee be higher than normal?

We ship directly from manufacturer in Hong Kong. The cost of shipping is higher than local shipping.

However this definitely should not be a concern to our valued customers because:
1) We are professional reseller associated directly with asian manufacturers. Therefore, the relatively higher shipping cost can surely offset by the initial low price
2) If you purchase through auction, the auction market will naturally adjust the final price downward to offset the high shipping.

Q9. When will my item be shipped, and how long is the shipping?

Upon confirming your Payment and mailing address is properly provided, we will ship the item IMMEDIATELY and give you the mail tracking number.

Q10. How to track my shipment?

When our shipping team and a tracking number is given by the post office, we will send the tracking number to the buyers.
Buyers can simply check http://www.hongkongpost.com/speedpost/eng/main.htm to get updated information about their shipment.

Q11. Is there warranty?

If you buy the optional insurance in auction, or you buy in bulk, we provide one-year replacement warranty.

As long as the item is not deliberately or physically damaged, we will replace the faulty item with a brand new one!
Each party should be responsible for the shipping fee to each other, i.e. buyers are responsible to ship the faulty item to us, and we are responsible ship the new replacement back.

Buyers have to make SURE that the item has a manufacturing fault. Otherwise, if our engineer test the item being ok, we will have to charge the shipping fee to ship it back.

Q13. If the item is found faulty, can I get a replacement or refund?

If the item is found with manufacturing fault, and has no been opened or physically damaged, we can arrange a replacement or refund. The customer is responsible to ship it back, and we will be responsible to ship it back to the customer.

However, the customer have to be SURE that the item has a manufacturing fault, and is not physically damaged. Otherwise, if our engineer test the item being ok, we will have to charge you re-ship fee for shipping it back.

Please email us and state clearly the auction number(if applicable), product included, the problem. If the problem is identified as manufacturing fault, we will confirm you to ship it back to following address for replacement arrangement. To save shipping fee for both you and us, please ship ONLY the faulty part back.

Q15. Is the 5.6" or 7.5" LCD TV compatible with my local TV Channel?

The TVs are in PAL system by default. PAL is the video system adopted by most countries, including UK, Australia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Netherland, Italy, etc.

US is using a different standard NTSC.

The TV tuner reception frequency is same as normal PAL TV, and is 100% compatible with TV channels in UK, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Netherland, Italy, etc. Please note France (using SECAM) is not support.

Q16. Why is the picture or sound not clear on my TV?

There are different sub-standards available in the video devices all over the world.

The snowy screen or fizzy sound might be caused by incorrectly set video sub-standard. Please goto System Menu, and change COL SYS or SIF SYS to change the video or sound sub-standard until you get a clear picture or sound.

Q17. Why is my TV not switched on at all?

Please check that your TV's DV adaptor is inserted properly into AC electricity socket, and that your electricity supply is switched on.

It may not be the problem on your TV itself, but the problem with the DC adaptor only. In such case, please try to use the Car Power Supply cable to test if the TV is ok.

Please be assured that we test every single piece that we ship out, but in case of unfortunate untested manufacturing fault, please refer to Q13 for replacement arrangement.

Q19. The DVR card software generate an Error: "The security key is not found"?

This is due to PCI slot unstability during first time hardware installation.
Please try the following, it should work perfectly afterwards:
1) uninstall the software
2) unplug the card
3) reboot the machine, then switch off the computer
4) plug in the card, and re-install the software

Q20. Does the DVR Card support Windows XP?

The Remote Client Software supports all version of Windows.
For Server Software, although the vendor does not officially support Windows XP or Windoes 2003, this card has been tested by our engineers and many of our customers, this DVR card works PERFECTLY on Windows XP and Windows 2003!

Q21. Is Software CD included with the DVR card?

YES! Both the server software and remote client software will be included on the Software CD shipped together with the DVR Card.

Q23. How to reset the 2in1 MP3 player+ USB Drive?

You can try to do a low end format for the mp3 play as following, it should work perfectly afterwards:
1) Charge your mp3 for around 15 minutes.
2) Push button sw1 to USB drive position and sw2 to unlock position (refer to your menu)
3) Press and hold the KEY2 (the front big cirlcar one)
4) At the same time push the SW1 to mp3 mode and continuously holding the SW1 for another 1.5 minutes.
5) Format completed!!
6) Try copy only one songs and test it!!
Remark: All the data and songs will delete after the Low end format.
